Shipping & Handling

Shipping within Canada

Within Canada: By default, domestic orders are shipped via Canada Post Expedited Mail Service with tracking and delivery confirmation. Please use the Shipping Calculator on the Cart page to find estimates based on your location. Xpresspost and Priority service are also available.

International Shipping

Outside of Canada: By default, US and International orders are shipped via Canada Post Small Packet mail service, with a tracking number. Tracked Parcel and Express service are also available. Please use the Shipping Calculator on the Cart page to find estimates based on your location. Additional import, customs, and sales taxes may be added separately in accordance with your state or country's specific requirements.

Shipping Rates

Within Canada: All orders over $175 will receive free shipping

Within Canada: All orders under $175 are subject to a $15.00 shipping fee

US Orders: All cross-border orders are subject to a $35.00 shipping fee

International: International shipping rates vary

In an effort to keep our carbon footprint low, local Toronto orders can be picked up in studio. Please note that currently all in studio pickups are by appointment only. Please email us at shipping@cuchara.ca to schedule a visit.

Jewelry Care

How to care for your CUCHARA piece

CUCHARA jewelry is plated in either 14k yellow gold, rhodium, antique brass or oxidized silver. To ensure the life of brass jewelry, do not expose it to water. Please remove your jewelry while exercising, bathing, and swimming, and avoid contact with perfumes, lotions or hair products.

CUCHARA recommends cleaning your plated jewelry using a damp, soft cloth. Make sure to fully dry the piece before wearing it. Do not use harsh chemicals, jewelry cleaners, or polishing cloths, as this will affect the finish. We suggest storing your brass jewelry in the pouch that we provide. 

CUCHARA is not responsible for the maintenance of your jewelry.

If you would like to replate your CUCHARA piece, you may purchase the replating service in our shop for any other inquiries please contact admin@cuchara.ca

Replating Service

We understand that with time your jewelry can fade and doesn't have the same shine as it used to. We believe instead of throwing away your old jewelry you should be able to give it a new replate to make it feel brand new again. This service is free of charge within the first 6 months of purchase. After that there is a charge ranging from $30-$50 depending on type of jewelry. This whole process is done locally in Toronto and takes about two week turn around.

Jewelry Repairs

Whether it's a CUCHARA piece or something you've had forever, we want to do our best to help you bring that piece back to life instead of letting it sit unworn. If you have a piece of jewelry that needs to be fixed or resized, we can do that in house depending on how damaged the good is. Prices range from $30-$150 depending on damage, size, material and style. This whole process is done locally in Toronto and takes abut 7- 14 day turn around.

Ring Resizing

It's very common for your finger size to change over time. If your ring no longer fits, we offer a Ring Resizing service. Starting at $50. This whole process is done locally in Toronto and takes about 2-3 weeks.

Return Policy

Returns

All sale items are final sale. If you are not satisfied with your CUCHARA purchase, you may return the item(s) within 14 business days of its arrival for exchange. Item(s) must be returned in new condition. We can not refund shipping charges on returned items. Custom engraved items cannot be returned for refund.
